I liked this story because I like soccer.  I never play because boys are too rough in soccer, and boys sometimes cheat in soccer too.   In this story, the boys on the team were laughing at Jessica because she was a girl and they think she can't play.  But Jessica wins the game for the Dragons because she is a good soccer player.  And after the game the crowd carries Jessica around.  The main reason I like this story is because a girl wins the game.

Anna and the Magic Coat

In the story Anna looked out her Grandmother's window and she was worried that it might rain on the school picnic. Anna's grandmother told her about a magic coat.  Anna was happy about the magic coat.  But then when Anna put on the coat she was hot and sad and frustrated about the magic coat. After Anna went inside with her friends, she hung up the magic coat on a hook and then she was happy to play Red Rover.

For Summer we have a picnic basket with food and lemonade,  two beach balls with a sand bucket with sand inside, a sea star, a sun umbrella with a beach chair, a little girl playing in a pool with her rubber ducky and ball on the side of the pool, and a school that says 'closed for summer'.

For Fall we have Winnie the Pooh and Piglet carrying a pumpkin, and Winnie the Pooh and Piglet playing in the leaves, Winnie the Pooh and Piglet sharing a pumpkin pie, Eeyore dressed as a turkey, and Garfield dressed for Halloween as Odie.  There is also a turkey holding a sign that says, "Happy Thanksgiving? gulp!" because we are going to eat him for  Thanksgiving.

How to make a snowflake

Before you start, you need supplies and instructions.  Supplies: piece of paper, scissors, and pencil.

Instructions:
1.  Get a piece of paper.

2.  Fold like in the picture below.

3. Cut off the extra bit.
4.  It should look like the picture below.

5.  Open it up.  Like in the picture.

6.  Fold it in half so you have a rectangle.

7.  Fold it in half again. It should be a square.

8.  Fold it on the crease.

9. On all the edges cut out shapes of any kind.  1/2 of a heart, 1/2 of a circle, or 1/2 of a diamond work the best.

10.  Open up the paper to see your snowflake.  Color it if you like.
